Meet Dr. Craig Duhaime
Dr. Craig Duhaime was raised in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Eastern Michigan University for his predoctoral studies where he was a Regents scholar and graduated with honors in 1998. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in 2002. Following graduation, Dr. Duhaime completed a general practice residency (GPR) and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic main campus in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Duhaime then practiced general dentistry in Grand Blanc, Michigan for one year before returning to school to pursue Postdoctoral training in Endodontics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. At Case Western, he received his Certificate in Endodontics along with a Master in the Science of Dentistry (M.S.D.) degree.
Dr. Duhaime has served on the council for the Oakland County Dental Society for several years and is the past Editor for the Dental Review – Journal of the Oakland County Dental Society for a four-year term. He is the current President of the Michigan Association of Endodontists and has served on their executive board for almost five years.
Dr. Duhaime is also on staff at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Hospital where he teaches endodontics. He has maintained an appointment there ever since the rebirth of its GPR in 2010. He maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, Michigan Dental Association and Oakland County Dental Society. Dr. Duhaime has contributed to the dental literature in Endodontics and Dental Traumatology along with presenting several lectures, poster research projects and table clinics.
When Dr. Duhaime isn’t practicing or teaching endodontics, he enjoys coaching travel sports, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife and three children.
