Meet Dr. Richard Rubinstein
Dr. Richard Rubinstein is a native of Detroit. He attended the University of Michigan for pre-doctoral studies and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1971. He received a Masters of Science degree in endodontics and radiology from the University of Michigan in 1973. Upon completing his training he served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama where he was director of endodontics. He began a practice limited to endodontics in Farmington Hills, Michigan in 1975. Dr. Rubinstein has continuously maintained membership in the American, Michigan and Oakland County Dental Associations and the American Association of Endodontists. He is the recipient of the 2016 American Association of the Endodontists President’s Award for lifetime achievement. He is also a member of and past president of the Michigan Association of Endodontists. Dr. Rubinstein is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Rubinstein is recognized as an international leader in the field of endodontic microsurgery, has authored textbooks and lectured extensively on the subject. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. Dr. Rubinstein is currently practicing at the Farmington Hills Surgical Center, where he is director of surgery.
