Meet Dr. Carl Botvinick
Dr. Carl Botvinick is a native of Detroit. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University in 1964 and his D.D.S degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, he was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society in 1968. Dr. Botvinick received a Post-Doctoral Degree in Endodontics and Oral Pathology from the University of Washington, Seattle in 1972. Dr. Botvinick served in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain. He is licensed to practice endodontics in the state of Washington and Michigan and has limited his practice to endodontics since 1970. He served as a State Board Examiner for Endodontics for many years. Dr. Botvinick was chairman, a clinical instructor and lecturer, and is currently a lecturer in the Department of Graduate Endodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He was head of endodontic training at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac and remains a member of the surgical and consulting staff. He has continuously maintained membership in the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County, Macomb County, and Detroit District Dental Societies. He is also a member of the American Association of Endodontists, and a Board Member of the Michigan Association of Endodontists. He served as President of Oakland County Dental Society and President of the Michigan Association of Endodontists. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and chairman of the Board of the Michigan Dental Plan. Dr. Botvinick has lectured on endodontics locally, nationally, internationally, and has contributed to the Dental Literature in Endodontics. Dr. Botvinick has been with Endodontic Associates since 1972.
